These terms apply when you use wearbeauty.co.uk, start a WearBeauty trial or buy a WearBeauty plan. Please read them with our subscription terms, refund policy and acceptable use policy, which form part of them.
WearBeauty is provided by WearDigital Ltd (company number 13346356), Sunderland Software Centre, Tavistock Place, Sunderland SR1 1PB. Contact us at info@wearbeauty.co.uk.
WearBeauty is sold to businesses and self-employed people for use in their business. By buying a plan you confirm that you are buying in the course of a business and are at least 18.
A WearBeauty plan gives you a licence to install and use the WearBeauty WordPress plugin on one website at a time, with the features and limits of your plan as shown on our pricing page, plus updates and email support while your plan is active.
The software is licensed, not sold. We, or our licensors, keep all rights in it. You must not resell, sublicense or redistribute the plugin, remove or bypass its licence checks, or use one licence on more than one website at the same time.
You can use WearBeauty free for 14 days with every feature switched on. At the end of the trial, bookings and editing are locked until you choose a plan. Your records are not deleted and you can still export them.
WearBeauty runs on your WordPress website, so you are responsible for your hosting, keeping WordPress and PHP up to date, backups, and the security of your logins. You need WordPress 6.2 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and a secure (https) website.
Card payments and text messages go through your own Stripe and Twilio accounts. Your agreements with those providers are between you and them, and they charge you directly.
The information you keep in WearBeauty belongs to you and stays in your website’s database. You are responsible for using it lawfully, including telling your clients how you use their information, getting consent where needed (for example for marketing messages), and keeping consultation and clinical records as your profession requires. See our data processing statement.
Support is by email on every plan. We aim to reply within 24 hours. We can help with installing, setting up and using WearBeauty. We cannot fix problems caused by your hosting, other plugins or themes, but we will tell you what we find.
We improve WearBeauty over time and may change or replace features. We will not remove a main feature of your plan during a period you have already paid for without offering you a fair alternative or a refund for the rest of that period.
WearBeauty runs on your server, so its availability depends on your hosting. We will provide the software with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, it is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be free of errors or suit every business.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for WearBeauty in that period.
Keeping regular backups of your website and database is your responsibility.
You can cancel at any time as described in our subscription terms. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing your licence or misusing the software, or if payment is not made. When your licence ends, the plugin locks bookings and editing but leaves your data in your database, and you can still export it.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
