Import your clients

Export from your old system

Most booking systems, including Fresha, Phorest, Timely and Booksy, can export clients as a CSV file. Check your old system’s help pages for “export clients”.

Check the column headings

WearBeauty matches columns by their headings. It recognises, for example:

• First name and Last name, or a single Name column
• Email or Email address
• Mobile, Phone or Phone number
• Date of birth
• Address, Town, County and Postcode
• Tags
• Email marketing and SMS marketing (for consent)

Import

1. Go to WearBeauty, Import & export.
2. Under Import clients, choose your CSV file (up to 20 MB).
3. Only tick the consent box if your file’s marketing consent is valid and up to date.
4. Click Import.

Anyone whose email or mobile number is already in WearBeauty is skipped, so you can safely import the same file twice.

Tidy up duplicates

WearBeauty spots likely duplicates by email, phone or matching names. Open Clients to review and merge them. Merging moves appointments, sales, notes, forms, points and vouchers onto the record you keep.
