Setup guide

Get WearBeauty up and running

Follow these steps in order. If anything does not go as expected, email us and we will help.

1

Check your website

You need WordPress 6.2 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and a secure (https) website. Take a backup before installing any new plugin.

2

Create your account and download

Create a free account on this website, then open My account and choose the WearBeauty tab to download the plugin. If you have bought a plan, your licence key is there too.

3

Install the plugin

In your WordPress admin go to Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin. Choose the zip file, install it and click Activate. Your 14-day trial starts straight away.

4

Run the setup wizard

WearBeauty opens a short wizard: your business, opening hours, services and your team. You can change everything later under WearBeauty, Settings.

5

Add your licence key

When you choose a plan, copy your licence key from My account and paste it into WearBeauty, Licence. A key works on one website at a time.

6

Import your clients

Export clients from your old system as a CSV spreadsheet, then go to WearBeauty, Clients, Import and export.

7

Add the booking form to your website

Go to Settings, Online booking and choose “Create the pages for me”, or add the WearBeauty booking widget in Elementor, the WearBeauty booking block, or the shortcode [wdb_booking] to any page.

8

Connect payments and text messages

For deposits and online payments, add your Stripe keys under Settings, Payments and follow the webhook steps shown there. For text messages, add your Twilio account details under Settings, Messages.
